Family Gentle Touch Doulas

Fees for Service

What does a Labor Doula cost?

Our fees are set each December for the following year. We are charging $550.00 for the 2011 year. This includes our predelivery consultations, birth vision development, class prep, and information needed to make decisions about the upcoming birth. Our doulas will assist you in achieving skin to skin care and breastfeeding. Phone call followup after the hospital stay. We offer Free consultation prior to decision about using our services.(See Labor doula duties).

This also varies from area to area and doula to doula. Some of this is based on the experience your doula has, some is based on the going rate in your area. However, most doulas will work with you, set up a sliding scale, or payment plans to help those who can't afford a doula. So, do not let this keep you from hiring a doula. Just contact us and we will go over all the information.
