Susan is the mother three children. She learned what a doula was shortly after the birth of her third child. Wishing she had known years before how a doula can help a family through the birthing process, she decided to help others experience the birth they desire. Susan is a Certified Labor Doula through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). “I consider it an absolute honor to be included in the birth team of each family I have served as a doula. I enjoy getting to know the birth family prior to the birth and learning what their preferences are for their labor and delivery. It is my desire to help the family and the birth team in any way I can to enhance their birth experience as they define it. Sharing such intimate moments with a family is truly a privilege that I do not take lightly. They are moments that I too always treasure."
