Nancy is a certified birth doula who holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and currently works for SIU School of Medicine doing injury prevention education. She received her birth doula training at St. John’s Hospital in 2002 and brings over 30 years of professional experience in public health, educational and social services to birth experiences. Married with four adult children, she became interested in birth through her own four, very different birth experiences, including a Caesarean section, two VBACs and an unplanned home breech delivery. Nancy has also served medical missions to Haiti, where she has assisted mothers as a doula the mission birth center. Click here to view testimonials.
